Sunday at the Museum


Every first Sunday of the month all state-run museums galleries, archeological sites, parks and gardens in Italy will be free for everyone as part of the initiative “Sunday at the Museum”.

This is an initiative to get more people interested in culture and visiting famous museums, as well as smaller and lesser-known ones.

The museums will be open and free on this dates, the first Sunday of every month for 2015:

January, 4th; February, 1st; March, 1st; April, 5th (Easter Sunday); May, 3th; June, 7th; July, 5th; August, 2nd; September, 6th; October, 4th; November, 1st (All Saint’s Day); December, 6th.
